We handle disputes over the purchase and sale of both residential and commercial property. Most of these disputes are subject to arbitration and require mediation first. We handle disputes over real estate investments. We occasionally handle neighbor disputes over land borders, easements and enforcement of Covenants, Conditions and Restrictions known as CC&R’s. We also handle disputes between homeowners and homeowner’s associations.
Our Results
We won a $35.4 million judgment at trial on behalf of a family trying to reclaim hundreds of real property parcels in Iran that were confiscated during the Iran Revolution and subsequently were misappropriated by the defendant. Learn More
On the last day of 2020, we won reversal in a published opinion by the Court of Appeal of the trial court’s dismissal of our fraudulent transfer claim involving the transfer of real property intended to defraud creditors. Aghaian v. Minassian, 59 Cal.App.5th 447 (2020).
We won a seven-figure fraud claim and an attorneys’ fees award in an arbitration arising out of the purchase of real estate in Bel Air, California.
We successfully negotiated the transition of top-performing commercial real estate brokers between major commercial real estate firms without litigation.
